ABOUT US
My name is Marcie and I have been sewing in some form since I was six years old. I have done everything from clothing to home decor to alterations. I worked for twenty years with my mom in retail clothing and bridal where I started making custom jewelry for brides in 2007. When the bridal shop closed in 2011 so mom could retire. A friend asked mom to rent the front portion of her building for a quilt shop and I took the back portion to dabble with embroidery for the public as well as helping the last few brides we had booked have a successful wedding.
Anita took me to the Quilt Show in Houston in the fall and I went all in selling the full line of Floriani threads, stabilizers and software. I expanded from there to Elna machines and Anitagoodesign software until Mom and I bought out the quilt shop in 2015. I am now working on expanding my fabric lines, I started with only 100% cotton quilting material but I am slowly branching out to include minke and flannels because they are just oh so soft and cuddly!
